Tuning in

Note the angle of the satellite dishes.

Here in the North, at sixty-four degrees, they don't point up at all. 
Seeing a satellite that's positioned over the equator can be difficult at this latitude.

Aimed parallel to the ground, searching for a signal 

just over the horizon, 

and often behind hills and trees, the dishes do their best.

And what? Still no hockey?
