Catching some rays

When the sun comes out, and actually appears above the hills to the south of town, it can be a wondrous thing.

These photos were taken early in the afternoon of December 8th.

The sun doesn't last long, so it's important to get out there, regardless the temperature. Here the sun is slightly visible just after noon.

After a wee walk in the sun, it's time to relax and catch some rays.

And yes, Sherry forgot her shades back at The Berton House.

The sun shines on the hills to the north of town. After more than just a few days of dull, overcast conditions, it is great to see the sunshine! Even if it isn't direct.

Ah, yes. Now this is the life.
In Dawson City. Yukon. In December.
The sun is shining and it's a balmy minus twenty-two.
