Dawson City's Crocus Bluff Trail

At the south west corner of Dawson City, and up the hill behind the Berton House, where we live,
is a trail that leads to a lookout and, if one follows it further, the local cemetery.
Apparently crocus flowers bloom in the spring, hence the name.

The trail is easy enough to climb, even with the new snow.

Above: looking south east from the lookout, the Klondike Highway to Whitehorse.

The Cemetery has a Mounted Police section, with graves representing the three services through history:
the North West Mounted Police, the Royal North West Mounted Police
and the
Royal Canadian Mounted  Police.
